Landlords have a legal duty to maintain all gas appliances, flues and pipe work, which have been provided for the use of your tenants and have them checked for safety at least once every 12 months by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer.
If a landlord does not have a valid gas safety certificate, or does not do works required, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has the power to prosecute.

Failure to follow gas safety requirements is a criminal offence and can be punished by fines or imprisonment.

On completion of a Gas Safety Certificate, Steadfast Gas will issue you immediately by e-mail the documentation and retain a copy within their database for an indefinite period. Lost certificates can be accessed and downloaded FREE OF CHARGE.
